Get ready to have loads of fun with these carnival-themed games inspired by Toy Story 4
Now that we can finally get our hands on the home entertainment release of Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 4, we thought of a really fun way to gather the kids (or adults) for a fun-filled day full of games and movie marathons.
Get ready to channel your inner cowboy like Woody to lasso rings onto bottles, use your inner voice like Buzz for a lolly jar guessing game and score a few awesome prizes if you’re a lucky winner (did someone say Ducky and Bunny plush toys?).
So, read on to discover how to host your very own carnival-themed game party. All games are inspired by the carnival adventures our favourite toys embarked on in Toy Story 4, helping toys like Gabby Gabby find homes.

Set The Theme
It’s all about setting a bright carnival-themed vibe, so decorate your backyard with colourful streamers and plenty of balloons in Toy Story 4 themed colours of yellow, red and blue.
Next, set up four separate booths for your carnival games. Keep score of the games by tallying up points on a whiteboard or piece of paper attached to a clipboard.
Game 1: Ring Toss
What you need: Grab a bunch of recycled drink bottles and place them on a table. Next, make your own rings from coloured rope or use pool rings.
Rules: Standing at least a metre away from the table, have players throw rings at the bottles one at a time. Winner is the player who throws the most rings around the necks of the bottles.
Game 2: Ping Pong Toss
What you need: Get some small recycling jars and tie red and yellow strings around them for decoration. You also need ping pong balls for this game.
Rules: Standing at least a metre away from the table, have players throw the ping pong balls into the jars. Winner is the player with the most accurate shots.
Game 3: Balloon Dart Wall
What you need: Hang up red, blue and yellow balloons on a wall or dart board. Attach prizes such as plush toys, stickers, sweets and cute movie quotes from Toy Story 4 behind each balloon. You also need a couple of soft tip safety darts.
Rules: Have players throw darts at the balloons. Winner is the player who pops the highest number of balloons. Best part of the game is popping a balloon to reveal a prize or awesome quote from the film.
Game 4: Sweet Guessing Game
What you need: Lollies placed in a clear jar.
Rules: Every player takes a turn in guessing the number of lollies placed in the jar. The player with the most accurate guess scores the jar of goodies all for themselves or to share with friends, of course.
And it doesn’t end here. If you’re extra like us, read on to discover how you can create your very own photo booth and carnival-themed popcorn station.
Photo Booth
What you need: Plenty and plenty of fun props. Use cowboy hats, a lasso, plush toys, sunglasses and a fork to create your best Toy Story 4 inspired snaps.
Popcorn Station
What you need: Grab a huge metal bucket, coloured paper, a mega bag of popcorn and a big scoop from a garden shop.
We can’t think of a better way to end the day than to gather your friends on the couch, munch on some popcorn and watch Toy Story 4 together.
