We have set up this site to help you prepare for auditions
for the show.
In every production of THE LION KING there are performers
from diverse cultural and experience backgrounds. We would
like to encourage you to audition and become a part of The
Lion King family.
Singers & Actors, Dancers and Children
For convenience we have divided the auditions site into: Singers & Actors,
Dancers and Children's categories. (Audition days are also organised around these
three categories).
Within each of these three sections there is a general introduction
to what we are looking for, followed by details of where
and when auditions are planned.
Audition Registration Form
At times the next auditions may not have yet been confirmed so we have added
a Registration Form that you can fill out. We will then contact you when
auditions are finalised.
Role Descriptions
Each section has a list of the roles being auditioned together with both a
written profile and a photo of the role from the Sydney
production.

For your information we have detailed the entire audition process from Initial
Auditions to being cast in the show as a guide to what to expect.

Casting Team
Auditionees often like to know who is on the audition panel. You will find
photos and biogs of the Casting Team at the end of each section.
